I will have deeper thoughts later, for now all I've got is

Amy Pond, hottest pirate ever or hottest pirate ever? And then there were pirates IN SPACE. I'm still working out whether or not that makes any sense at all and mostly concluding that when it comes to the fact of PIRATES IN SPACE I don't actually care if it does because THE PIRATES. ARE IN SPACE. Yes, I really am that easily pleased.

Also, Rory is now officially the Daniel Jackson of Doctor Who. That's three deaths in a season and change. Four if you count the fakeout death of last week. This has actually made me far more confident about his future safety than ever, because it's now just a personality quirk. Like how he sometimes stammers, except sometimes he dies.

I suspect that in the moment it will always leave me meeping, on account of it's Rory and his stupid face and Amy heartbroken will always make my face go :(

But, hee, yeah...when the moment passes it's just funny at this point. I'm actually kinda hoping they'll do it again because I'm cheap and getting both an OH NOES and a ROFL out of it would entertain the hell out of me.

LOL, yeah, when Amy was doing CPR I was like "I know I should be concerned that he's going to be actually dead, but I... just can't take it seriously anymore."
