taraljc and boosette. The season(s) with Matt and Emily, who I am told are not in earlier seasons which makes me sad because they are both kind of ridiculously hot and I am shallow. However I feel the presence of dinosaurs will help when I do end up watching the earlier seasons when I get home. Because, hello, DINOSAURS.
I've also watched the pilot of Falling Skies and am intrigued enough to want to watch the rest of what's aired so far. Anything that begins with an alien apocalypse has already won the benefit of the doubt from me.
Vividcon is omgosh next week and I am so very excited. I have not been able to do my usual run up of muppet like flailing and random vid meta and discussion, but believe me I am bouncing like a madwoman and so very excited to see everyone. PREPARE TO BE HUGGED. A LOT.

Trust me, once you've seen the earlier seasons of Primeval you will forget you ever doubted them for a millisecond. Claudia Brown!!!
I had to watch Falling Skies because I'm such a sucker for a resistance narrative you would not believe it. My main problem with it is that Noah Wyle is not old enough to have a teenage son, damn it! (I'm not ready for the Librarian to grow up!) There could be more awesome women in it but the ones that are there are pretty awesome. There was one scene in particular with Moon Bloodgood expressing grief and anger that I thought was surprisingly well done. Plotwise there have been some interesting developments in the most recent episodes, so I think I'm definitely going to be looking forward to the next season.
