Watched Doctor Who last night and I loved it with the full power of flaily hands and capslock...only when I was done I realized that I had pretty much no desire to either post about it or go back and catch up on cut tags or look for discussion or anything. Increasingly this season I've felt like I'm watching a different show this season than a lot of fandom...and that is totally cool, but I like my happy bubble of joy. It is a bubble I need in my life. Fandom has absolutely zero obligation to feed that bubble, and I don't expect it to (though it is very nice when the two coincide)...I do have an obligation to myself to keep my own happy places happy, though. And sometimes that means backing away, which I think I am doing for the conclusion of this season.
<3 <3 <3 to you all, and I will return to posting Eleventy's face squee once this season settles a bit.

I am also now convinced that the Doctor's next companion needs to be a baby.

omg. I mean, normally cute boys + babies don't have that much of an effect on me, BUT IN THIS INSTANCE OMG.
