Yes, exactly! I can't tell you how many times my art buddy has told me "this doesn't look right; go back to the drawing board". I know I'm starting to get in the right mindset because now I start voluntarily throwing out hours of work and redoing things before he even gets to take a crack at it. And let me encourage you by saying it's absolutely worth it when you get to something you're happy with and have that knowledge that it's a hundred times better than what you'd have been left with if you'd given up and settled halfway through.
