The feelings I got from watching were SO COMPLICATED. Because what came rushing back from watching it as a kid was my love of the movie, tainted only slightly at the time by my blaming of the mom for not holding onto the kid tighter, when it was those jerkwad aliens who were at fault. To see now, too, Richard Dreyfuss' alien-induced obsessions and the Big Brother machinations of the government...

Amazing vid, with so many thinkies to chew through. *applause*
