Is it Torchwood time yet? I'm finding myself getting more excited as we get closer, mostly thanks to the promos which look all kinds of awesome and the anticipation of more Martha Jones. Shiny, shiny crack for meeeeeeeee. Also I was surprised at how much squee the shot of Jack and Ianto kissing set off in me. Same thing last season when the promo stills with the kiss from the finale were released as well. I'm a bit wary of having my 'ships canon, I actually sort of prefer that they aren't. And yet, I still went all flaily glee hands at the smooching. I'm reserving judgement on how this will play out, even while my inner 13 year old is drawing little hearts with "J+I" written in the middle. In part I'm also happy because I've sort of ended up booting him from my Who OT3ing of Jack/Martha/Doctor and Jack/Rose/Doctor in favor of Rose/Martha/Doctor...not because I don't love him and the dynamics but because OT4s involve too many elbows that could be misplaced...someone could put an eye out! I was feeling bad for leaving him out, but if he's got Ianto then I feel less guilty. Also, it's hot. Never let it be said that I can't be bought off with two very pretty people kissing, because apparently? I totally can.
