Now we're moving. From do nothing to a flurry of activity, the scheduling nurse called while I was on the way to the airport to say they only needed one more blood test, and she had everything ready to go, could I stop by on the way home? Which we did. The blood test today (done!), tomorrow free, MRI, pelvic and pap smear on Thursday, PET scan on Friday, meet with the oncologist on Monday. So there it is. I feel weirdly better now that we are doing things, though it was disconcerting to see 'dx: metastatic cancer to the lymph nodes' on all my test orders. Hadn't seen it written down yet. Makes it all official like. Monday. Monday I'll have a solid idea of how bad it is, and what to expect in the coming months.
