We all know I suck at plot and shit, right? Good because this is mostly character reaction.
Hi, Eleventy? HI! It is getting to the point where my love for you is embarrassing even to me, and I am generally quite proud of my utter lack of shame. If I were more impulsive and not scared to leave my house most of the time, I might be out getting a tattoo with your name on it right now. Well, if I knew your real name. And if it wouldn't be confusing, because although I do love all of you, I don't love all of you THIS MUCH. I am also now shipping you with Rory VERY HARD (because OMFG, you...you wanted to know if he'd be okay catching you and Amy up. And you NEED HIM WITH YOU). And Amy still. And Nasreen, the awesome scientist lady. And the Silurian whose name I can't remember. On account of hate sex is good for the soul, and you should really stop doing that intense gaze of sudden hotness at evil people...I think maybe they are confused, like, do you want them to surrender or start stripping? And now I'm wondering if the Weeping Angels got so pissed off because statues can't strip. Just a word of advice from your friendly lesbian fan who is still all 'well, damn, son...that shit is hot. I might not do you, but I think everyone else SHOULD'. I'll bring my camera. *cough*
ANYWAY. Back to my point, which is your restrained grief "So much" and anger "I know how that sits in the heart" BREAKS ME. And, while I am well aware I am being manipulated with cheesy inspirational speeches, when you do it, I'm kinda about to stand up and clap myself. Shut up. I love that you care about lizard people, and war makes you that sad. I would also like to reiterate that although it would be a bad idea because you'd keep losing them and putting them in horrible danger and whatever, I would still like to see a TARDIS full of tiny children. Because every time one of them is around you, my heart GROWS THREE SIZES and I cannot restrain the out loud 'AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW' and deep love of the way you interact with and respect them like people. I love you. I LOVE YOU SO MUCH. You can come get me anytime, by the way. I've packed a bag. I'm even old enough not to require supervision. Much.

Because how are you SO AMAZING, I don't even know (and you have *fantastic* legs, holy crap...*tries very hard not to objectify*) When you do things like running back to save the dude regardless of the danger to yourself, and even when you are so scared you are still so brave, I just...YOU. You put your engagement ring back on! AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW, you really do care about my batshit shippy heart. 'Did you just shush me?' OH, AMY...RUN AWAY WITH ME. Fine, you can bring Rory. Rory, how you manage to get more awesome every time you step on screen I don't even know. But YOU DO. I love the way you don't particularly seek out adventure, but are more than willing to go along with it, and how your natural curiosity leads you to...end up standing in graves investigating on your own. I love that no matter how angry you are at Eleventy, and you had every right to be, you still listened (and can we go back to my first point, which is HOW MUCH I LOVE ELEVENTY FOR TREATING YOU AND ACCEPTING YOU LIKE A VALUED AND TREASURED MEMBER OF HIS TEAM). And that you're willing to call the sonic rubbish when it is. And every now and then you remind me that you are a nurse, a caretaker, when you say "Is everyone all right?" and you mean it, you're actually concerned about their well being and ready to jump to if they need help. <3 <3 <3

I'm just. Okay. I love these people. I love them a lot. It is like a special treat to get to spend an hour with them every week, regardless of what's going on around them. They could do an episode that revolved around the mystery of elevators that don't come faster when you push the button multiple times, and I'd probably still love it. Because of them.
And now I've just babbled a lot and said pretty much nothing except <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 using a lot of words, but whatever. I have got the BIGGEST CRUSH IN THE UNIVERSE on this Team TARDIS.

And the one place in that ep where the plot strings really showed was Nasreen clapping in approval of "Be decent" and then of course she's immediately shuffled off to the TARDIS so it's one anti-lizard, one on the fence, and one Rory instead of being two pro-peace to two (one wavering) anti-lizard.

And now I want a small adorable furry animal (of earth or other origin) to wander into the TARDIS, because it would give the Doctor the big sad eyes and he'd probably be grumpy at it *while* he was fixing it a treat and giving it a comforting scratch behind the ear, and like, building it a comfy little pet bed *while* grumbling about how he was totally going to find a new home for it...soon. Tomorrow. Next week tops. And really if he hasn't found a proper home for it in a year that's not really his fault.

I HOPE IT NEVER DOES END. But, even if the whole thing goes crashing downhill, just this much? Is...I want to keep it in my pocket forever.

Very true! But in addition to the intensity you mention, he has this very refreshing softness that I am really responding to. Ten was mercurial and charismatic but VERY SHOUTY and Nine had this sharp undercurrent of POSSIBLY BARKING MAD -- I love both of them and I love those qualities, but Eleven's gentle warmth is so refreshing and seductive. You know that he still has rage and pain and above all power, but he is, as you said yesterday, actively making choices to be a kind person.
And not just kind, but accessible, if you see what I mean. He's presenting a more human-ish side of himself, or at least a more approachable one. He seems more touchable, more emotionally available, more willing to experience joy -- as opposed to just pleasure.
Possibly this makes sense only to me. (:

But yeah, in terms of what I would think of as "hot", it's pretty much *only* when he does the intense gazing that I start going "OKAY, EVERYBODY START GETTING NAKED WHILE I GO GET MY CAMERA"

Normally my BSOs are all about having giant walls around them (I'm looking at YOU, Benton Fraser). Nine and Ten fit that and I was all drooly over them. But Eleven is the opposite of that. There's stuff he doesn't talk about, sure, but he feels somehow more real. Like he wouldn't talk about Gallifrey unless you brought it up, but he will say "so much" and there's all that feeling there. Ten was Mr. "I'm always fine."
Right now, I find the softness, the quiet statements of emotion, sexier than anything.

THEY LIKE EACH OTHER. Like, genuinely. I mean, I knew it from Vampires of Venice where, for all the tension there were these moments where Eleven was actively *listening* to and *caring* about what Rory thought and felt...but I think I was still reflexively flinching from Rusty Era Who that was the best I could hope for, and that he would not get to be a member of Team Tardis proper, but rather Amy's sidekick.
