Yay! Thank you anonymouse for the sparkly sunglasses. THEY SPARKLE. *admires*

So, here's a problem. As I mentioned I'm leaving this week to attend my son's high school graduation. That is not the problem, that is AWESOME (if a bit weird, because I keep wondering where all that time went that I now have an 18 year old kid on his way to college, but time marches on). I won't be back until the 6th.

It was not until looking at the calendar today that I realized...well, huh. This does not look good for the next installment of the Eleventy Project at all. The second half of this two parter will be airing while I'm there, and I won't be getting home until the day after the episode *after* that airs. There is a chance I might be able to do some vidding on kiddos computer (he's been making noises about wanting to vid and having me set him up). But I wouldn't count on it.

I'm not entirely sure what I'm going to do here. I've become rather attached to the idea of having a complete set by the time season 5 ends. And a big part of the point of the vids themselves, for me, is that they are made in the context of the week(s) in which they *air* and how I feel about them right *then* (we all know things sometimes look different when you know what's *going* to happen).

Also, it's sort of a pride thing now. I set out to do this thing and by golly I'm doing it. Since I have the attention span of a gnat and starting new projects and things and dropping them halfway through is sort of my MO, it would be really nice to actually finish something I started. For once. So..what to do?

I could hold off on watching the episode that comes after the two-parter until I've vid that. But then I will be behind, and that...also removes the part where this is sort of an ongoing real time dialogue with the season. I don't like that. I can skip this two-parter's vid entirely, and head straight into the vid for the next one. But then I won't have a complete set at the end of the project. I can try to vid *both* at the same time, which...maybe? Or I could try to do all three as one vid (which may or may not be doable depending on how much connection there is between the third and the two-parter). Argh.

Thoughts?

I think above all, to thine own self be true. Please don't consider for a moment what it will/won't look like to anyone else if your latest installment is a week late, or whatever.

If you're capable of doing two vids at once, that's a good idea. But even if you wind up a bit behind, you can still catch up before it gets to the end of the season.

This. If you start feeling like you HAVE to do it and on time because of what other people will think, you're going to start hating it. Which will make no one, especially yourself, happy.
