(no subject)

When I woke up this morning, I was all prepared to be in another state of crankypants panic for the day. Then I checked my f'list and magicallaw posted this picture of David Tennant and I find it impossible not to be happy.

You guys, somewhere in the world, right now, David Tennant exists and he's almost certainly doing or saying something adorable or geeky or more likely both. RIGHT NOW. That this is true is proof that the world doesn't entirely suck.


ETA: chloris67 also posted this one today, because clearly the universe wishes to remind me of all that is right with the world everywhere I turn.

And greensilver would like to add this for a bit of scruff admiration. And clearly this needs to be reposted on account of some of you missed the green velvet and rooster hair of JOY.

And in conclusion, if someone has an explanation for This bit of WTF, David, WTF? It would be most greatly appreciated.

bald heads and awesome women

Something that is awesome. I have officially declared it to be spring today with the appropriate shaving of my head. Y'all...I have been waiting since winter started, and my hair has just been growing and growing, and yes, I know it's been keeping my head warm and that I should be appreciative since this is it's evolutionary purpose, but I just wanted it GONE. And now it is. I am bald again! RUB MY HEAD, YOU KNOW YOU WANT TO. Also, if you do it then it will keep me from running outside and asking random strangers rub my head, because it is FREE again and IT WANTS TO BE RUBBED.

Also, I started to do that 'FUCK YOU, SHE'S AWESOME' meme and the list kept getting longer and longer and I couldn't narrow it down enough to make anywhere near a tidy post, and then I'd see another one and start nodding my head so hard I think I strained my neck, so I am issuing a blanket statement that points to the many, many lists of women characters popping up on my f'list and pumping my fist in agreement. HELL YEAH, SHE'S AWESOME. And so is she. Her too. Girls RULE. With a special shout out to my girl Gwen Cooper, since Torchwood is the most recent obsesso fandom in which I've been dealing with the need to shout that at people.
