So that was an adventure. I wish I could say it was a good one. See, my car was finally fixed and I was doing this whole try to get out of the house and see people as the run up to the move happens. So there was brunch with peoples, and then there was a movie. Problem is on the way to the movie I slammed my (newly fixed) car into a curb and, like, broke it. Badly. An hour away from home.
Thank god for peoples,
shrift for staying with me while I worked out the AAA stuff to get the car to a shop, and both she and
tzikeh for putting me up for the night and feeding me and showing me White Collar to cheer me up when the shops were all closed and I had no way home. And
chipunk71 for taking me to
vagabondage so I could get home today. Car is still in the shop while we figure out the cheapest fix so I can at least drive it home before figuring out what needs to get done (seriously, I really broke it...something to do with struts and ties and alignment and wheels should not sit at that angle).
But I am home now. I may never leave again. But I'm home.
Thank god for peoples,

I am sorry you wrecked your tire too one time, but it makes me feel so much better I'm not the only one to have done it. Who knew you could do so much damage so easily to that part of the car? Stupid curbs.
