Help me f'list/circle, you're my only hope. See, Festivids nominations are coming up which is very exciting. VERY EXCITING. And one of the fandoms I desperately want on the list is St. Elsewhere. I haven't seen it in years but that show had a huge impact on me and my television watching. So I went looking for source so I could rewatch it, nominate it, and both request and offer for it this year. And not only is only the first season out on DVD, I can't find torrents for the rest of it in any of my usual places.

Does anyone have it? If not, it seems a cable network I do not have called American Life TV is airing it. Do any of y'all get this network and would you be willing to record the eps? First season would be something, and I will be getting that on DVD, but seriously y'all. If nothing else the whole thing should be around for sharing.

*makes giant puppy dog eyes at you guys and invokes the spirit of Festivids to make this happen*

That is so weird. I remember all the hubbub when the first season came out, so I just assumed everything else was out on DVD too. That's just crazy.

I don't have any resources for you, but I just want to say that I have major nostalgia for that show, which is one of the first adult dramas I started to watch (I think my mom thought I was two young for the first few seasons but then started letting me watch and explaining it to me), and I would really really love to see a vid for it. Good luck with your search!

I thought about getting the series on DVD for my mom at some point when I heard it was coming out, but the last news I saw (which was a couple of years ago now) was that it was one of several shows the network was considering doing a big shiny full box set release (rather than going season by season, presumably) and that was why they stalled out after the first season. Thinking about it now, I'm wondering whether they're trying to put together special features or actor commentaries or something? Given the success of so many cast members post-show, that would a) be a HUGE selling point for the complete series all on its own, and b) take forever.
