I am getting used to this whole living in a barn thing, but there are...moments. Just now I realized I needed to refill the water tank in the RV, a task which is becoming routine enough that I don't even think about it much. Except when I open the barn door in the back to go turn on the faucet and manage to scare the shit out of the cow I didn't realize was standing right there. Which managed to startle the shit out of me.
So pretty much the cow jumped and kinda bolted off to one side, and I jumped and bolted off to the other side and we spent the next few minutes kinda panting and staring at each other like WTF ARE YOU DOING HERE? I fear the cow probably has more justification for its indignation than I do.
Is it spring yet? I think the cow and horses will be just as relieved as I am to no longer be sharing immediate space.
