Test results in, and it's a bit of a mixed bag? Girly parts wise, everything looks the way it should. My hormone levels are...weird? And possibly making a partial comeback to just this side of perimenopause, but also unlikely to be directly related to what's going on so much as a factor in.
Unlikely because my thyroid has gone from being a bothersome oddity that was slowly self destructing to full on apocalypse party in my neck sort of thing. The ultrasound was, like, full of fun new surprises of various nodules, liquification, and whatnot from the last time. And my thyroid blood work was the very definition of abnormal.
So, likely not fatal, any of it, YAY. But I am back on the doctor go round, and the best case scenario is even more medication, ack. And although the possibility of thyroid cancer is not nearly as scary as the kind I've already had, I would really prefer not to get cancer twice in three years. Knock fucking wood. I'm supposed to get a call scheduling appointment with specialist tomorrow.
At least it's not my birthday this time?

This sucks, mightily. Fingers crossed it's just a messed up thyroid and not cancer.
