Yay! Two days in a row leaving the house! Brunch with ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
pipsqueaky, renenet, and vagabondage yesterday, and then I went to go see Wanted with vagabondage today. Wanted is truly shallow as a puddle, however, Angelina Jolie is seriously hawt, the effects are wicked cool, things blow up, and the body count is impressively high. I don't really ask for much more than that out of my summer movies. I feel the need for a good apocalypse though. Are there any good apocalyptic movies coming out soon? Or that are already out, since I tend to miss stuff sometimes, so if the world is coming to an end at a theater near me, please let me know.
Oh, and y'all? We saw the preview for Mummy 3...I WANT IT RIGHT NOW PLEASE. I love those movies with a glee that is unholy.
What are you all up to today? Tell me of your favorite summer movies of years past. Are you as easily bought off by shit blowing up and slow-mo action ass kicking as me? Or do you require those...watcha call 'em? Plots that make sense?
