If loving Nathan's suffering is wrong, then I don't wanna be right.
Poor Nathan. Hurting hurts. Not hurting hurts. Trying to do/not to do either hurts more. What is left for a poor boy to do other than stab himself with a plastic fork and cry on a beach? I have wondered if he would be so sensitive were it not for the Troubles. How much it affected his emotional development as a child, and then how he experiences emotions as an adult now that they're back. It's hard to be Nathan. So hard.
